Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday morning signed the executive order, which backs the Ministry of Finance to collect taxes and prosecutes defaulters. It works under the Voluntary Assets and Income
Declaration Scheme (VAIDS) of the government. Once it starts operating, failure to pay taxes would only allow a grace period of nine months.
