No Fake APC Ward Congress Nomination Forms In Abia

From Nnaya Eziyi, Umuahia
The All Progressive Congress (APC), Abia State chapter has said there are no fake copies of its forthcoming ward congress nomination forms in the state.
This was contained in a statement signed by the chairman and secretary, Mazi Enyinnaya Harbor and Chief Chidi Avajah respectively, which was made available to newsmen.
They said the publication which was published in one of the national dailies on July 22, was not only misleading, but also aimed at frustrating the party in the state ahead of the 2023 general election.
They added that the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) had announced that the forms are obtainable at designated banks, local government area, state, or the national secretariat after confirmation of payment.
According to the chapter leaders of the party, “This dose not require validity or endorsement from anyone in the state” as the source of the report was said to had insisted.
“Any information with regards to the ongoing sale of forms for congresses should be directed to the national headquarters of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Abuja, the federal capital territory.”
They called on “all interested faithful members of the party to ignore all distractions, particularly from a sinking ship and approach designated banks to pay for forms.’
