The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reported a total revenue of N4.571 trillion for June 2025, marking a decline from the N6.008 trillion recorded in May.
According to its June 2025 Monthly Report Summary, the company’s Profit After Tax (PAT) also dipped to N905 billion, down from N1.054 trillion in May.
Despite the month-on-month drop, the national oil company said it remitted N6.961 trillion to the Federation Account between January and May 2025, up from N5.583 trillion it paid in the first four months of the year.
The report also showed a marginal rise in crude oil and condensate production, which increased from 1.629 million barrels per day (bpd) in May to 1.68 million bpd in June — a gain of 51,000 bpd.
Natural gas production rose to 7.581 billion standard cubic feet per day (scf/d) in June, compared to 7.352 billion scf/d in May and 6.615 billion scf/d in February, indicating a consistent recovery in output.
Petrol availability in NNPC retail outlets improved to 71 per cent in June, up from 62 per cent in May.
Progress on key infrastructure projects remained steady. The OB3 gas pipeline remained 96 per cent complete, while the AKK pipeline project advanced to 83 per cent, up from 81 per cent the previous month.
Upstream pipeline availability, however, slipped slightly from 98 per cent in May to 97 per cent in June.
On refinery rehabilitation, the company said reviews of the Port Harcourt, Warri, and Kaduna refineries were still ongoing.
