
The Interim Management Committee, IMC, overseeing the forensic audit of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, has been enlarged from two to five, courtesy of a new approval by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The five members committee, according to Mr Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, in a statement: Prof. Kemebradikumo Daniel Pondei, who is the Acting Managing Director, replacing Barrister Joy Nunieh; Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, Ag. Executive Director (Projects); Ibanga Bassey Etang, Ag. Executive Director (Finance and Administration); Caroline Nagbo (Member); and Cecilia Bukola Akintomide, a former Vice President with African Development Bank (Member).
The new team would supervise the auditing of the Commission’s account as directed by Buhari after which a new board would ne inaugurated.
Pondei, the new Acting MD, is a Professor of Medicine at the Niger Delta University and former Provost, College of Health Sciences of the institution.
