Minister of State, Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba,
The Nigerian Minister of State, Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, has been commended for the great works and contribution to massive development in Edo North.
The commendation was made by Members of St John’s College, Fugar, Old Boys Association, who testified to the achievements that Prince Agba had made in the area of road construction in and around his community in Afemah land; and his empowerment programmes in Edo State.
The members also acknowledged his contribution to early preparation and presentation of Budget in Nigeria, which often in time past, is delayed.
The President of the association, Mr Patrick Musa, said Prince Clem Agba was a round peg in a round hole in the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
” I commend the Nigerian President for including one of our own, an alumni of the School, into his cabinet and the difference is very clear for all to see.”
Prince Agba, a staunch member of St. John’s College, Fugar, Old Boys Association, since his assumption of Office less than two years ago, has facilitated the construction of road projects in Iviukhua, Iviebua, Iviegbepui, Okpekpe, Agenebode and other Egori Communities in addition to the Federal Executive Council approved Uneme-Uzanu – Okpekpe link road amongst others.
A member of the Old Boys Association, Mr Jolly Obozuwa, who was full of praises for Prince Clem Agba, described him as a True Saint and a Worthy Son of Etsako Land, who has distinguished himself out of the other Ministers, who emerged from Edo State but had no meaningful achievement to show during their time in office.
He also added that the achievement recorded so far is ground breaking and a testimony to the love he has for his people, noting that it is a clear affirmation that when the right people are in position of authority, the dividend of good governance is possible and can be accessed by all.
Mr Obozuwa prayed that God continues to grant him sound health and wisdom to do more for his Community, Friends and the Old Boys Association.
Honourable Clem Agba was a two- time Commissioner under the administration of Comrade Adams Oshiomole in Edo State.
