Mo Dewji, Abducted Tanzania Billionaire Yet To Regain Freedom

 

Despite making an offer of $ 440,000 reward for the rescue of Tanzanian billionaire Mohammed Dewji, who was kidnapped on Thursday, his family is yet to get any clue leading to his whereabouts.

Mr Dewji, who kidnapped by masked gunmen in the Tanzanian city of Dar es Salaam is still held incommunicado by his abductors even as the police have arrested more than 20 people in connection with the abduction.

Police reportedly believe that two white men were behind Mr Dewji’s disappearance,

According to Forbes magazine in its 2017 report said Mr Dewji, 43 was worth $1.5bn. He served as a ruling party MP for a decade until 2015.
