Mayhem yesterday enveloped Bagana and Patani communities in Omala LGA of Kogi State when both villages came under severe
attack by suspected Fulani Herdsmen claiming no fewer than eight lives.
Many houses were also burnt down during the attack while anxiety has gripped residence of Abejukolo, Obakume, Ogo and Oganeinigu for fear of falling victims of next target.
Oganeinigu community and environs has been deserted into various IDP’s Camp since yesterday night.
The Police Spokes person, Williams Aya while confirming the attack, said the attackers are suspected militia who invaded the communities, killing four persons, three civilians and a police man adding that the police have however, brought the situation under control.
