
ManCity players in big win, celebrate
With a hat trick from Sergio Aguero, a brace from Raheem Sterling and one from Gundogan, Manchester City humiliated Chelsea, 6-0 to move back to the top of the Premier League on points even at a default. It now has 65 points as Liverpool but with nine goals difference from 27 matches. Liverpool however has a game in hand.
In a game dominated by Man City, it took its players the first 25 minutes to put 4 goals into the Chelsea net .This is the first match Chelsea would be so hammered since 1991.
For Tottenham Hotspurs, their 3-1 defeat of Leicester has put them into the fourth title-race as they now seat in a comfortable third position with 60 points behind Man City and Liverpool.
Mauricio Pochettino side took the lead through Davinson Sanchez’s first goal for the club, but they were indebted to Hugo Lloris for saving Jamie Vardy’s spot-kick after the interval at Wembley.
Christian Eriksen netted moments later and although Vardy got one back, Son Heung-min’s late strike ensured third-placed Tottenham clinched a fifth win in their last six league games.
