The troubled city of Maiduguri, capital of Borno State Wednesday came under renewed attack from its tormentors, Boko Haram terrorists who attacked three different spots at Muna area of the city, leaving five persons dead and eleven others were injured.
According to the spokesman of the National Emergency Management Authority in charge of the Northeast zonal office, Adbdulkadir Musa, which confirmed the incident in a statement:
“Three suicide bomb attacks at three different locations in Muna namely Muna Usmanti, Muna garage and Muna Ethiopia respectively.
“The incidence occurred around 4:11 am which led to five deaths.
“Among the death persons include four suicide bombers and a Civilian JTF (vigilante). The injured persons were taken to General Hospital for proper medication while the death bodies were deposited at the mortuary by NEMA and SEMA emergency response officials.”
Boko Haram terrorists have recently adopted this deadly approach to killing people to announce its presence anytime the military states it has almost liquidated them as it did last week to reassure Nigerians that the terrorists are leaving on borrowed times. Photo: Vanguard
