Firmino seals victory for Liverpool

Palace took the game to the visitors and almost pulled it off with a goal, 15 mins into play but Jordan Ayew wrong footed a massive pass from Cheikhou Kouyate.

After much back and fort, dependable Wilfred Zaha made it one all from a cross by Christian Benteke until the Reds turned the table with a Roberto Firmino 85^th winner. Liverpool remains unbeaten in 29 Premier league matches.

Arsenal vs Southampton, 2-2

The boos that greeted Arsenal’s last minute equalizer tells the whole story of the match at Emirate. Arsenal had to put on an early fight to reclaim the spot after the visitors had taken the lead in the 9^th min through Ings free-kick, which caught Arsenal’s defence napping. Lacazette late goal salvaged a point for Arsenal, further putting Emery under pressure, while the team fall to the seventh position behind Burnley, Wolves who pulled off stunning away victories.

West Ham vs Tottenham HotSpurs, 2-3

Spurs head coach, Jose Mourinho escaped an embarrassing start at Spurs when his team which led the encounter at half time with 2-0, slumped in the second half to a more determined host, who had put up a spirited defence in the first half, anyway.

With an early goal in the 37^th min through goal poacher, Son, his fourth against the Hammers and at the 44^th min, by Lucas with a Son, the visitors looked good to increase their tally against the home side in all their matches. (Spurs have won three of their last five meetings). At the opening Spurs increased their goals at the 50^th min with a Kane header.

Leganes vs Barcelona, 1-2

Suarez nod in the equalizer to put Barca on winning mood

With the win at Leganes, Barcelona sits atop Laliga with 28 points with goals difference of 19 against rival Real Madrid even if they win at Sociedad later in the day.

Barcelona have Arturo Vidal to thank for scoring the late winner against struggling Leganes, who had taken an early lead with a powerful strike from Youssef En-Nesyri in the 11^th min. Luiz Suarez canceled it with a brilliant header before Vidal’s superb finish form Ousmane Dembele’s corner

Watford vs Burnley, 0-3

With goals from Wood in the 53^rd min, Barnes through a penalty in the 82^nd min and Tarkowshi 88^th min goal, the visitors took the ball from a dominant home side with 61^st per cent possession aganst 39 for the visitors who salvaged a win to rise to the sixth position on the table.

Bournemouth vs Wolves, 1-2

 

Wolves’ Jimenez pulls off the winning goal to take him team to the fifth position on the table

 

Wolves have moved fifth position on the premier table with a stunning victory against 10- man Bournemouth. First-half goals from Joao Moutinho and Raul Jimenez earned them the deserved victory.

Moutinho’s sublime free-kick put the visitors ahead at the Vitality Stadium, before Jimenez doubled their advantage from close range following fine play from Adama Traore.

Brighton vs Leicester, 0-2

 

Vardy seals victory for Leicester with a header

Skipper Jamie Vardy struck a brilliant header to secure a clear victory as Leicester beat Brighton for their fifth successive Premier League win that has pushed them eight points behind leaders Liverpool, but are now three clear of third-placed Chelsea and four points above Manchester City before those teams meet later on Saturday.

Atalanta vs Juve, 1-3
