Kidnappers, Robbers: I am Coming For You, Bello Vows

Worried over the incessant kidnapping and armed robbery on major highways across the state, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state has vowed to take the battle to their den  to flush them out from the state

Bello gave the assurance at a valedictory  court session in honour of late Justice Tom  Shaibu Yakubu, Justice of the Appeal Court,  held in Lokoja at the weekend.

The Governor also vowed not to negotiate with the criminals but  rather to confront them with superior fire power to submission

“We are living witness to pockets  of crime being perpetrated in parts of the state,I want to assure you and every citizen in the state that my administration will take the war against them right into their den anywhere in the state.

,”My administration will never negotiate with them, rather we will  take the war to them wherever they may be hidding. Never again will we allow any kidnapping in the state,every citizen is assured of their safety guranteed” He assured.

The governor however, showered encomiums on the departing Judge whom he described as a man  with impeccable character who left his footprints in the sand of time.

Also speaking at the valedictory court  session Dr Alex Iziyon (SAN)  described the death as a gross lose to the bench that will take time to fill the vacuum

“His Love for humanity was legendary, his philantropic spirit was second to  none,so also his dedication  to duty will remain evergreen in the minds of all that have had encounter with him at one time or the other” Iziyon noted.

Late Justice Shuaib Tom Yakubu died on the  December 24,  2019 at the age of 66
