The Majority Leader of Abia State House of Assembly, Hon Chinedum Orji has said that he was set to double his achievements in office before the end of October.
Orji stated this at a meeting with his supporters at Mbara Umuwaya Square, Amuzukwu Autonomous Community in Umuahia North Local Government Area.
He said the impact would be on education, youth empowerment, power, roads, infrastructure, assistance for community-initiated projects, and health facilities among others.
According to the member representing Umuahia Central State constituency in the House, the choice of such projects would be made by the benefiting community.
“Even as I speak, I have identified three major projects that will have direct impact on the lives of the people to embark upon as soon as possible,” he added.
He told the community, which had earlier adopted Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, Sen Theodore Orji and himself for second terms in 2019 that greater things were coming their way.
Orji, who used the forum to canvass for votes for the three of them in the forthcoming election, stressed that they should endeavour to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
Earlier in his address, the convener of the meeting and the Chief Security Officer (CSO) to Orji, Chief Enyinnaya Madumere described him as a visionary lawmaker.
According to the CSO in the address which was read by his daughter, Miss Marvelous Madumere, the community was already battle-ready for the three in the election.
In his speech, the traditional ruler of the community, Eze John Ibezim applauded the son of the former governor of the state for his vision for the community.
Similarly, both the President-General and the Youth Leader of the community Chief Eme Nweke and Mr. Ifeanyi Isaac respectively, assured of their support for the three in the election.
