Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, who narrowly escaped death on Sunday evening after being involved in a minor road accident along the Daura-Katsina Road, is said to be stable with no serious injury.
The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, confirmed the incident, stating that it occurred while Radda was returning from Daura, where he had visited the residence of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari to receive condolences from mourners.
Mohammed said the governor sustained no serious injuries and remains in stable condition.
He added that Radda is currently undergoing routine medical evaluation at a facility in Daura as a precaution, with medical personnel attending to him.
He also expressed gratitude to residents of Katsina and other well-wishers for their prayers and support.
