
Olubunmi Tunji- Ojo
The Federal Government has declared Tuesday and Wednesday this week as public holidays to mark the Eid- el – Fitr celebration.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, Ashaitu Ndayako said on Sunday that the Minister Olubunmi Tunji- Ojo congratulated Muslim for the successful completion of the fasting in the Holy Month of Ramadan.
He urged them to emulate the virtues kindness, tolerance, peace, love and compassion as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Mohammed, Peace Be Upon Him.
“The Minister urged Nigerians to continue to live in the spirit of unity in order to achieve peace and oneness in the country.
“The Minister wishes all the Muslim Ummah a happy Eid-el Fitr celebration and prays that the peace, blessings and favour of Allah be with everyone and our great nation.”
