A former Director of Claims Resolution at the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation, NDIC, Dr Pascal Ebhohimen, has picked a nomination form to contest the Igueben Local Govt Council Chairmanship seat on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Dr Pascal Ebhohimen bought the nomination form at the state secretariat of the party accompanied by close political and business associates who are said to have pledged their support for his aspiration to emerge the party’s choice and eventual winner of the poll coming up on September 2, 2023.
Back home in Igueben Local Government Area, the former corporate chieftain has already captured the imagination of the people with his ” Dawn of A New Era” development plan, giving his openness, competence and wide network in the corporate community.
While addressing the press at the PDP state secretariat on Tuesday, Dr Pascal Ebhohimen promised that as a servant leader, he would make a difference in governance through inclusive leadership of all party leaders and the people to drive the transformation process of Igueben LGA.
He said that the LGA would become a model for local government administration in the country if given the opportunity to serve as it’s chairman.
He therefore appealed to party leaders and delegates for support and nomination, promising to carry the party along in his plans, programme and policies for the council.
