ECOWAS Head, Election Observer Group, Mohammed Ibn Chambers has called on major political Parties, particularly the opposition All People’s Congress, APC, to sheath the swords and embrace peace, as the country heads to the polls on Saturday, 24, 2023.

Sequel to Wednesday’s sad episode, in which 66 arrests were made, 5 gun shots, 2 from pistols and 3 from AK 47 by the Police, resulting in 1 death, with several injuries, Chambers, once again, reminded Sierra Leone of it’s ugly past and revealed that no country will be willing to come to military and security aid as there are currently global fatigue in all sectors.

Meanwhile, the ECSL has released the soft copy of the final voter list to the Political Parties Regulation Commission, PPRC.

All is quiet on Thursday as investigations are ongoing on Wednesday’s sad episode at the APC office.
