Argentina forward Angel di Maria has left Juventus, just one year he joined the Old Ladies. The star chose to return to Benfica for the second time in his career.
Di Maria who is 35 played for the Portuguese club between 2007-2010, as that was his first European club after leaving Rosario, Argentina.
He spent last season with Italian side Juventus after seven years with French giants Paris St-Germain.
“Welcome home, Di Maria,” the deal will only last a year for the Argentine.
Di Maria won three trophies in his last season with Benfica before joining La Liga giants, Real Madrid.
He will team up with his close friend and fellow Argentine, Nicolas Otamendi whom they both won the world cup together.
