Former Minister for Youths and Sports development in Nigeria ,Barr . Solomon Selcap Dalung has commended Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang administration for rehabilitating Sabin-Baraki road network which he said was deliberately abandoned by the immediate All Progressives Congress- led administration for political reasons.

The APC chieftain condemned what he described as the politics of sentiment and winner take all in Africa whereby some communities would be left out of projects completely because they didn’t vote for the government.

According to Dalung, “we most grow above the ethnicity and religious politics if we must achieve success in building this country.  The Sabonbaraki – Bukuru Lowcost Junction Road before now was an eye soar. Under a focused leadership of Governor Caleb Mutfwang, the 2 km road is undergoing transformation.”

The efforts to construct this road started under Governor Jang in 2014 but was abandoned after the change of government in 2015, when Governor Simon Lalong took over reins of government.

Dalung stated that , “in spite of my influence in the last government with other prominent citizens closed to the administration our plead for the completion of the project fellon deaf ears.’

“The suffering of Sabon bariki community and other road users affected the socio-economic wellbeing of citizens of the state. When the righteous are in power the people rejoice but when the wicked are in power the people mourn.

“The people of Sabon Bariki are rejoicing and on behalf of the community, I appreciate Governor Mutfwang’s leadership. God blessed Mr. Governor amen”.
