COVID-19: With 17 New Cases Confirmed Number Rises To 305 In Nigeria

The National Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Friday confirmed that the status of the coronavirus in the country has increased to 305 with both Niger and Anambra states recording their maiden cases of the virus infection,

According to the Centre in its verified twitter handle update at 9.30pm, seventeen new cases were confirmed Friday with eight from Lagos, three in Katsina, two in Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and one each in Niger, Kaduna, Anambra and Ondo.

It also confirmed  that seven more patients were discharged in Lagos on Friday, bringing the total number of discharged patients to 58. Number of deaths stand at 7

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Lagos has risen to 163, FCT 56 cases, Osun remains at 20, Edo, 12, Oyo 11, Ogun 7, Kaduna and Bauchi 6 each. Akwa Ibom- 5
