Two clearly unassailable questions that have emerged from the current Covid-19 pandemic are:
– why is it that some infected people remain asymptomatic, that is, they are carriers of the virus who do not develop symptoms?
– why is it that some infected people get more critically ill than others?
I believe in the following underlying factors:
– individual genetic makeup
– individual immune response
– individual general adaptation syndrome
Your genetic predisposition says a lot about your ability to ward off illness in the event of an infection. Some of us are born with incredible innate capability to fight off invasion of pathogens. And some are born with genetic typing that predisposes them to illness. The first and foremost principle of wellness is that each of us on the surface of the earth is unique in several ways. We don’t have the same face; neither do we have the same ability to produce enzymes nor the same personality. We don’t even have the same nutritional needs. In fact, our needs are as different as our faces! Let me also emphasize that while we have the same physiological system, we don’t have the same physiological responses.
What this all means is that these individual variations concern variability in efficiency of various physiological systems.
Second, our immune systems provide protective mechanisms against infection and disease. Your immune system is like the immigration service. It prevents you from harmful bacterias and viruses from gaining entry into your body. It is a kind of personal bodyguard. Imagine a personal bodyguard who is malnourished and weak due to lack of care. How effective can he be?
That’s what happens when we gamble with our health through careless lifestyle choices. When we violate health needs of our bodies by our lifestyle choices, we get sick. It is that simple.
What You Can Do
- Pay attention to your body’s cleansing systems:
(1) Liver (chemical filter)
(2) Kidneys (fluid filter)
(3) Lungs & airways (air filters)
(4) Spleen (blood cell filter)
(5) Lymphatic system (intracellular filter)
- All the above 5 filtration organs must be kept healthy and functioning perfectly because whatever goes wrong with one affects the other.
- Follow the complete healing rule
– vital linkage of mind, body, and diet.
MIND
Your mindset about your life and the world in general can have tremendous impact on your overall health. People with positive state of mind tend to overcome obstacles, injuries, and diseases much faster. Your health is affected by your emotions, beliefs, and levels of stress.
First Heal The Mind
(1). By avoiding thought traps we can open ourselves to healing
(2). Health is inner peace; healing is letting go of fear, resentment, anger, bitterness (all negative emotions)
(3). The believe that nothing is impossible is a powerful medicine.
(4). Dwelling on the impossible limits your possibilities.
(5). There’s no disease that doesn’t have the potential to be healed.
(6). A life purpose to help others has the potential to heal.
(7). Stop thinking errors
BODY
(1). Build hormonal defence
(2). Build intestinal flora
(3). Build immunity
The Wisdom of The Body
(1). Every cell in our body knows how to heal provided the body is free from toxic load
(2). “The true medical frontier lies within.”
(3). Once we learn to consistently and consciously mobilize our healing process, taking pills will become obsolete
(4). Realising the body/mind potential depends on a radical shift in perspective
(5). A healthy body is a vehicle that takes us to a destination. Health is a means not an end in itself. TO BE CONCLUDED
