
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has recovered from COVID-19, following treatment he went through while in isolation for the past two weeks.
The governor disclosed this, on Thursday, as he addressed newsmen at the State House, Marina.
He thanked God for his recovery and stated that COVID-19 is real
He urged Lagos residents to take responsibility, even as he also expressed appreciation to the medical team for their care and the Lagosians for their concern and prayers. Nigeria currently was over 80,922 infection cases with recovery cases of 69,274 and 1.236 death as at Thursday, December 24, 2020
Lagos state currently has the highest number of viral infections in the country at 22,562 with also the highest rate of recovery at 21,119 but more deaths at 220 followed by the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, at 6,385, recovery at 5,934 and 82 deaths. Lagos. however, has the highest population of 18 million persons in the country.
