Following the report of a communal violence at Ham, Selti and Pkasham Villages of Numan and Demsa local Government Areas, that resulted in the death of three, the Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, CP Dankombo Morris, has personally led a team of police operatives to the scene, patrolled, assessed and swiftly restored order.
According to the PPRO, SP Suleiman Yahaya, police immediately instituted investigation after normalcy was restored, to detect and apprehend the perpetrators and their collaborators.
He said the Police boss enjoined residents to shun violence and peacefully go about their lawful activities without fear and report people of questionable characters to the nearest police Stations or the following emergency numbers.

The CP, he said, assured the government an people of the state that the perpetrators of these acts would be deligently prosecuted as the command will not fold its arms and allow few amongst the residents to disrupt the peace of the public.
