Civil Defense Opens Peace Clinic In 36 States

As part of its efforts to manage crisis through the involvement of the people in the country, the Commandant General of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu has set up “Peace Clinic in all states of the Federation”

In a statement signed by the CDPRO, ACC Emmanuel Okeh, the Peace Clinic is “a service to guide Nigeria through the crisis management process, and make sure that their voices are heard”.

He said the corps now has a total number of “One Thousand, Two Hundred Chattered Peace negotiators certified by United Nations Development Program (UNDP).”
