Buhari’s Visit:  Plateau Beefs Up Security

The Plateau Government has beefed up its security apparatus ahead  of President Muhammadu Buhari One- Day scheduled visit to the state for the commissioning of completed projects and Town Hall.

The State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Mr Yakubu Dati disclosed this to journalists during a press conference held at Joseph Gomwalk secretariat on Friday, stating that during the On- Day completed projects across the 17 local government areas of  would be commissioned by Buhari in addition to a town hall meeting with the All Progressive Congress (APC) stakeholders.

Dati stressed that there are ongoing projects across the all the LGAs are Rantya state and Federal Low-cost Housing estates in Dong, the second flyover around secretariat junction and Revenue House with numerous roads  projects before retiring to meeting with the party stalwart.

Dati added that his appointment as commissioner is to consolidate on his predecessors’ achievements in projecting the governor’s achievements  littered across the three Senatorial Districts and in maintaining the existing peace through the cooperation of media organisations.

He explained government’s plan to disseminate vital  information on Lalong’s progress within two and a half so as to promote unity in diversity as well as confidence building among the people of the state.
