The National Coordinator of Buhari Campaign Organization Alhaji Danladi Pasali has accused former President Olusegun Obasanjo and former military Head of State, Ibrahim Babangida of contributing to the current recession in the country by the omissions and commissions of their past administrations.

Alh Pasali spoke to this medium at his resident in Ungwan Rukuba yan shanu while reacting to letters written by the two leaders asking President Muhammad Buhari not to contest the 2019 poll and give way to more dynamic and vigorous youths because his administration has failed.

“As BCO we want to set the record straight by stating that President Olusegun Obasanjo brought the Mai tashen in 1977 to 1980 and was accused of missing funds so he lacks the credentials or pedigree to blackmail an incorruptible leader of Muhammadu Buhari kind. To us this amounts to character assassination”, he said

Pasali said Buhari’s administration is revamping moribund industries and providing fertilisers to farmers, adding that the “richest person now is the farmer.”

He also noted  the developmental strides of Governor Lalong-led administration in the state and commended him  and Buhari for “their administrative policies which has restored of peace and religion tolerance in the state” ..

“We are happy as workers and people of Plateau today, to have a Governor like Lalong, who places human life first above any other projects in the state.

“Although he has not built much structures or constructed many roads in the state, he has built many lives and provided protection for hundreds, especially, the lives of the children, who were once thrown out of schools because their parents could not afford to settle their school fees before now, owing to the fact that they are civil servants.

“The peace we now enjoy in the state is also a deliberate policy of Governor Lalong’s administration. Although we see pockets of attacks here and there, the number of deaths and its frequencies has reduced.”

He maintained  that the government is doing all things possible for peace to remain in the state. People are leaving other states now for Plateau state.

“We expect that, if given the chance for a second term and the level of peace remaining the same, Governor Lalong, will build all that is desirable. For now, his strength and that of his administration for Plateau, rest in his human-face policies, which needed to be embraced by all,” he said
