Five-times footballers of the year awardees, Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo have bagged nominations for the FIFA 2019 best footballer of the year award alongside the Liverpool trio of Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah and Spur’s Harry Kane.
Another in the race for the Best Fifa Football Awards is former Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard, now with Real Madrid. The list is 10- man strong.
