Rakitic scoring the deciding goal in Barnebeu
For the second time in a week, Barcelona proved superior to Real Madrid after a 1-0 defeat in what may well be called a second El classico, thought this time it is La liga. The 1-0 defeat came after four days ago 3-0 thrashing, again in Barnebeu. It was Ivan Rakitic that scored the goal, leaving Madrid third on the table with 48 points, behind Atl Madrid with 50 and Barca 60.
There is still twelve game in hand, though and if Atletico Madrid, who is second, win their game with Real Sociedad on Sunday, Barca will be down to seven points. Dicey.
