The All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed its sadness over the fatalities and injuries recorded at the presidential campaign rally in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital on Tuesday.
According to the party in a statement by Mallam Lanre Issa –Onilu: “We have learnt that the sad incident was as a result of a stampede.
“Those affected by the tragedy were our friends, brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers who came out in support of their progressive beliefs and to campaign for the type of governance our dear country deserves in the next four years.
