APC Accuses PDP of Raising Tension Ahead of Saturday Poll

The state Secretary of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Plateau, Barr.Bashir Musan-sati has decried the alleged non- compliance of PDP to the Electoral Act as worrisome while calling on the state government, INEC to deploy sensitive materials in time to prevent unnecessary delay in the voting on Saturday.
Speaking to journalists home on Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau ,Musan-sati açussed the PDP of sniffing around INEC materials in the company of 30 lawyer under the impression of preventing distribution of fake materials.

He said , “when I was at the CBN to see things for myself, PDP people were there with many lawyers. when security asked them to leave, they refused just to cause problem.
According to him, “they went on checking everything especially the materials, they almost took position then I raised the alarm and in swift reaction the deputy chairman of IPAD quickly asked them to leave but they were still hanging around.”

Musan-sati expressed satisfaction with the preparedness of INEC, stating that the postponement has become a blessing to the state as there were no materials in Plateau south and North central senatorial districts as at last Saturday.
Bashir noted that the ballot papers have arrived the state successfully but cautioned that the Commission must guide against plans by anybody to manipulate the results.
