The Adedayo Akin-Taylor Skills and Empowerment Network (AASEN), successfully conducted a free medical outreach in Ikota Housing Estate along the Lekki-Epe Expressway on Saturday.
The organization carried out medical consultations and essential healthcare support to members of the community.
This programme is one in a series that is being sponsored by Dr. Adedayo Akin-Taylor Ekong, the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, candidate for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency for the House of Representatives in the 2027 election.
The medical outreach recorded a large turnout with over 140 beneficiaries, who received medical consultations, services and other medical supplies at no charge.
The programme was honoured by the presence of Madam Ngozi, Deputy Chairman of the NDC, Eti Osa Chapter, the NDC LG secretary, alongside other members of the party’s executive committee, whose support contributed to the success of the outreach.
Dr. Adedayo Ekong expressed her sincere appreciation to the AASEN medical team, volunteers and everyone who contributed for helping to make the outreach a resounding success. She also appreciated the officials of the Calvary Healing Ministry Int’l, the ministry which provided their church facility for the programme.
“This initiative, which is part in a series of many others that we have conducted in the past, is a reflection of the commitment of Dr. Adedayo Ekong to human development, accessible healthcare and community empowerment.
“As we look towards 2027, I remain determined to provide quality and people-centred representation that will improve the lives of the people of Eti Osa.
It is the fervent believe of Dr. Adedayo Ekong to work together with the people, because, it is together that we can progress that will build virile society.”
