The head of Plateau Christian Pilgrims to Jerusalem, Commissioner for Land and Survey, Festus Faunter has charged Christian Pilgrims to imbibe the message of kindness and transparency while in the holy land and to focus on prayers for the restoration of peaceful coexistence in Plateau state and Nigeria.
Faunter stated this in a message at a workshop for the pilgrims, held at the COCIN headquarters in Jos . He described the 2017 Pilgrims as the most organised in the history of state, noting that pilgrims were careful selected and proper arrangement has been made to ensure that nobody absconds during the exercise. He said the government will sponsor 300 persons out of the over 579 expected to participate in the pilgrimage .
