Kidnappers of former minister of Sports, Hon Damishi Sango, Chairman of a faction of the Peoples Democratic Party in Plateau State and four others have insisted on N100 million as ransom to secure his release just as the incident has temporarily united the factions of the party in the state with the spokesman of the Gyang Badung Pam faction, Emmanuel Macham condemning the rate of insecurity in the state and country and urging the security to work hard to secure their release.
He said, “This act of criminality should not be condoned in a democracy, that is why we joint others in praying for the return of the elder statesmen safely to the family and state in general.”
Sango, his son, driver and Chief Emmanuel Magni, the state coordinator of Uche Secondus, national chairmanship aspirant of PDP at the party’s Saturday’s convention, were kidnapped along with two others on there way to Abuja by gunmen.
