The Police have rescued Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, the sister of a former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, and her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul.
Available information, the Police rescued the trio at about 7:30pm on Saturday after a heavy gun duel with their abductors.
Sources say that no fewer than two of the kidnappers died following the superior power of the police assault, while others escaped with gunshot wounds.
John-Paul and her twins were kidnapped on June 3, 2026 around 7:30am while she was driving them to school in the Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
The Police is yet to officially announce the rescue.
