The Police Command Kogi State in collaboration with the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices and the Police Community Relations Committee, on Friday conducted a road walk and public sensitisation rally.
The Command’s public relations officer, CSP William Aya, said that the initiative aims to promote a peaceful, safe, and crime-free Christmas season across the state.
“The awareness walk sensitised residents on shunning cultism, criminality, and other social vices, while encouraging collective responsibility in maintaining peace and security during the festive period.
“It also served as a platform to engage the public on crime prevention and the importance of cooperation with law enforcement agencies”, Aya noted.
