The Lagos State Government will begin night repair works on Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, Victoria Island, from Monday, September 15, to Sunday, September 21, 2025.
Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, in a statement, said the works would take place nightly between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. to minimise traffic disruption.
He advised motorists to exercise patience while driving through the corridor or use alternative routes, noting that the repairs were in the public interest.
Osiyemi also appealed for understanding from residents, road users and stakeholders, assuring that the maintenance was part of the government’s commitment to improving road infrastructure in the state.
