Fire-spitting leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mr Nnamdi Kanu, has swallowed his earlier threat to stop the Anambra governorship poll from holding in November
The IPOB leader reportedly recanted flowing a decision reached after a meeting organized by a non-governmental organization, the Ala-Igbo International Foundation.
The meeting, which was held with the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu in Owerri, the Imo State capital agreed that the elections would hold as planned on November 18, according to leader of the Ala-Igbo Professor Uzodinma Nwala. .
The Ala-Igbo Development Foundation, which is aimed at protecting and ensuring the survival of Ndigbo, their culture and civilization as well as the development of Igboland, is an assemblage of academics, elders, clerics, patriotic public figures, women and youth of Igbo, both at home and abroad.
