Adeboye Visits Buhari In London

The presidency has reported that President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday received the aGeneral Overseer Worldwide Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, at the Abuja House, London.

Mr Femi Adesina, Senior Special Adviser to Buhari on Media and Publicity disclosed this information on his Facebook page in Abuja on Friday.

Adesina posted pictures showing of President Buhari and Pastor Adeboye during their meeting.

In one instance the President for what many may see is remarkably different from his engagements with previous visitors is seen scanning a book, probably presented by his August visitor, Adeboye. In another, both of them are seen standing together and shaking hands.

 

 

Adesina captioned the photographs: “President Buhari receives General Overseer Worldwide Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye at the Abuja House London on 18th Aug 2017.”

This visit is a follow up to visits from the most recent visit of Senate President Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki and his House of Representatives counterpart, Hon Yakuba Dogara as well as the the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.

Earlier, some governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress led by party Chairman, Chief John Oyegun visited the President, shortly after which a bi-partisan delegation selected by the Governors Forum and led by its Chairman, Governor Abubakar Yai of Zamfara State also paid Buhari a visit in Abuja House, London,
President Buhari left Abuja for London on May 7 for the second round of his medical checks.
