The Ag .General Manager Jos Water Supply Cooperation ,JWSC, Stella Buge has assured residents of Plateau State capital of improvement in the distribution of water sector and quality drinking water throughout in 2023 /2024 fiscal year .
She made this known to journalists at the Yakubu Gowon State secretariat through a representative, Mr Alex Luthel the Assistant Manager Quality Assurance in Jos .
She said they have successful defended the 2023 budget and the management has taken measures towards improving the supply of drinking water to people, especially areas where pipelines were affected by the ongoing roads construction in the state .
Buge emphasized that they are prepared to reach out to communities were they would witness great change through the World Bank intervention projects .
“We shall be working in conjunction with other foreign agencies through their intervention programmes although some of the British American Junction pipelines that distributed water were exhumed and are being put replaced and repaired to ensure they function properly.
She appealed to citizens to exercise patience and to trust and believe in the Mutfwang government which is going to better the state water sector after the budget clearance .
Buge stated that the water board management remained committed to health care sector through improved environmental sanitation .
