The pioneer Chairman of Ibadan West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Prince Yomi Adefusi has vowed to deliver the dividends of democracy to his people despite the current economic recession and delayed allocation to the council.
The LCDA boss made the vow in a statement from his media office sequel to a call from the state Governor Abiola Ajimobi to all the newly sworn-in chairmen to perform their duties to the grassroots or get booted out.
He pointed out he has thought out of the box to shore up its Internally Generated Revenue as directed by the governor, adding that his administration has ensured prompt payment of taxes/levies obtained from the tax payers to the coffers of the LCDA.
“I will boost the IGR of this LCDA and all the loopholes must henceforth be blocked. I enjoin all residents to be up and doing in supporting me to ensure that the purpose of being chosen by the governor is achieved,” he pleaded.
