Director General Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Balogun Akin Osuntokun has denied issuing a ‘press release’ on the 2023 Presidential Election in Nigeria.
“In the referred release, I was deviously impersonated to have declared “INEC’s Original Results” in the 36 States of Nigeria ‘AND’ the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), wherein I allocated specific percentages to the respective States and the FCT,” he said, declaring that, “I hereby wish to make it known that I did not issue the said “Press Release”, and I dissociate myself from it. Please disregard it.
“We have commenced the process of reclaiming our due mandate, and restoring hope to the millions of Nigerians whose hopes were momentarily truncated on the 25th of February 2023, and we will do so through all available legitimate civil channels. We will remain unwavering, resolute, and prayerful until we reclaim our victory.”
