Mr Ibrahim Danjuma Mani
State Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Plateau state, Mr Ibrahim Danjuma Mani has denied reports of merger plan between the party and the Labour Party in the state and advised those he referred to as desperate politician looking for cheap political relevant to stop their antics.
Rising from its state Exco meeting held on Monday in Jos, the party condemned those peddling the story and described their actions as impolitic.
According to Mani; “there has been this speculation peddling on social media by distractors of the good work of the National Chairman of APGA ,Dr Victor Ike Oye which the state chapter display unalloyed support to his leadership. We have been hearing rumour being speculated that the party LP and APGA have completed merger in Plateau State without following the due process of merging. We are yet to collapse any of our party structures in Plateau and in Nigeria. I want to emphatically debunked this allegations as unfounded and I regard the same as mire intention of party partisans particularly those who are running helter-skelter seeking for political relevant to cause confusion.”
He stressed that the purveyors of the rumour were those who didn’t find any suitable elective position in APGA as Aand therefore resorted to blackmail.
Ibrahim Danjuma noted that since inception of the party on May 312019 they have been working hard to ensure that the party clinches all the elective position in Nigeria.
Mani said the SEC meeting on Monday, resolved, ” that APGA structures in Plateau state and in Nigeria at large are still intact and will identify with national Chairman Mr Ozomkpu to deliver purposeful desire leader to move the country forward.”
He added that the law enforcement agents have been adequately alerted on the activities of these perpetrators of this ills act against the party.
