Former Media Spokesman to President Olusegun Obasanjo and President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe has emerged the Vice-Presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
Okupe who is the Director General of the Peter Obi campaign team stated this on Friday. He said he was “standing in”, until a the searches for an appropriate candidate is found before the July 17 window given by the Independent National National Electional Commission, INEC.
Explaining further, he said the party is still waiting for other political parties like Social Democratic Party, and others to join the mega-party that Labour is banking on to “give the Nigerian youths a hole for the future.”
