Igwe Ozas Achi Becomes Mattawale (Ezeudo Jos) of Jos North LGA

Chief Igwe Ozas Sam Achi displays the certificate of his chietaincy, Ezeudo Jos, before family and friends, in Jos at the weekend.

 

 

The President of Ujah of Anaguta of Jos North Traditional Council ,His Majesty Pozoh Johnson Magaji the ll has confirmed the titled of Pozoh Samah Mattawale on Chief Igwe Ozas Sam Achi ( Ezeudo of Jos ) as he admonished the Indigenous People of Biafra ,IPOB, to see the act brutal killing of citizens as barbaric an unholy.

The traditional ruler said the chieftaincy was to honour Chief Achi for the contribution to social development he has brought to Jos North

In his reaction, the new Ponzoh Samah Mattawale said ,”I feel so happy and honor with chieftaincy title bestowed on me. We don’t know that they are recognising our contribution in Jos North, so today they have shown us evidence that they really appreciate the good things we have been doing”.

According to him the title will spur me to increase his contributions in promoting peaceful co-existence in the council .

” I will try my best to ensure that peace reign in Jos North ,I also call on my brother in the East to see the problem of attacking innocent citizens as inhuman. His Royal Majesty Pozoh Johnson Jauro Magaji II, Ujah Anaguta Jos North has bring all the community leaders in one particular place and this will go a long way to ensure that peace reign, “he said.

Achi raised the state government for doing well in the circumstance and prayed that succeeding administrations would build on the current achievements.

On the issue of presidency in 2023, Ezeudo Jos said,”this is the time for Igbo to govern Nigeria because since the inception of this country the Igbos have only led the country for six months. Other geopolitical zones has led much more than that. So for the interest of justice, equity and fairness Nigerians should give the Igbos the opportunity to lead come 2023.”

Concerning the issue of IPOB, the chief revealed that,” honestly speaking I am not in support of the way and manner they operate in the South East. Every body believe what is happening to Igbos is fair but I don’t think the way they are taking it is right. So I really condemned the act of the IPOB!

In his message to the followers, he sued for peace. “Peace is so paramount and all of us should embrace peace so that we can be able to move forward, he said.
