PDP Might Lose 2023 if the Party Drops Zoning System, Says Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim

The Former Senate President ,Sen.Anyim Pius Anyim has advised Plateau delegates ahead of presidential primaries to respect the zoning system enshrine in the 1999 constitution as any attempt to stop  the ideas of rotation might affect the chances of the People Democratic Party ,PDP ,in 2023 general election .

Speaking to the delegates at the stakeholders meeting held at Party state Secretariat ,Yakubu Gowon Way opposite NTA Jos ,  Anyim said any plan to scuttle the principles of democracy as conceived by the founding fathers democracy in Nigeria  was tantamount to destabilize the nation .

He further explains that all politician in Nigeria agreed to come together to ensure that military junta go back to their barracks when late Baba Solomon Duashep Lar took the bold step to confront them .

Sen.Anyim stressed that the late Lar’s agenda was anchored on two issues;  the first was to make sure that army returned back to the barracks and the second points was for Nigeria to adhere towards zoning arrangement between the South and North .

He issued a warning to the North to allow power rotate to the South saying ,any candidate that emerged from either south south ,southwest and southeast was agreeable .

Anyim Pius stated that his declaration of intention to vie for the seat of Presidency was borne out of his personal conviction to serve Nigeria and ensure that the Nigerian enjoy the dividends of democracy .

According to him,”my interaction with the all the delegates was to familiarize and identify some of the major issues that is generating crises since the return of democracy in 1999 because the colonial master built plateau state as tourist and development state.”

He noted that if given the mandate he plans to make Plateau state as one of the commercial hubs of Nigeria where all foreigners can harness the business potential of the state.

Sen. Anyim revealed that the international crops farming shall be restore in Plateau with  technologies gadget to improve the safety of lives and properties of citizens .

He disclosed that you deserved to be communicated face to face that is the reasons why I had to come to canvas with my intention through expression of interest form ,please I’m a man of credible , integrity  and honor to provide leadership that is unbias .

Anyim emphasized that “I have work as a civil servant ,occupied offices and all my records are there for each and everyone to see as I have also transacted business with people without cheating them .
