The member representing Langtang North and South Federal Constituency of Plateau State in the House of Representatives, Hon Butmuk Beni Lar  has expressed concern over the operations and manner of staff of the the Independent Electoral Commission ,INEC,  deployed to conduct the second phase of registration and capturing of voters in her constituency.

Hon Lar emphasized that she witnessed “artificial hoarding of voters registration machines in her Constituency which is obvious that there is plot to rig the forthcoming poll in Langtang North and South.”

Beni Lar complained bitterly that her constituency in Langtang North and South which is about 500,000 in population is provided with one functional bio-metric Voters Registration machine to capture all the eligible voters ahead 2023 General Election.

Beni Lar who is the daughter of the first civilian governor of Plateau state, Chief Solomon Dashep Lar urged the governing APC administration at the center and the state to ensure that all Nigerians of voting age are given opportunity to register and provide enabling environment to vote during election for peaceful reign .

Beni Lar who is the chairman of science and technology in the Federal House of Representatives, scored the Buhari APC led administration low in all areas of national affairs, accusing it of causing the death of many citizens in the country through its inability ti tame the worsened insecurity in the country.

She appealed to “the ruling APC government to allow the democracy to thrive and not to disenfranchise the eligible voters in her constituency.

“When Buhari was campaigning 2015 and 2019, he promised Nigeria that he will make the country naira equal with American dollar, revive the moribund Ajaokuta Steel Rolling Mill. Today inflation is 300-400 percent, prices of food stuffs has gone beyond the reach of average Nigerian as construction materials has hit the roof  and the country is bedeviled with vices like killings, kidnapping and banditry”

She exonerated the federal lawmakers from any blame for not resuscitating the moribund Ajaokuta Steel company because they had put all frame work in place which the Buhari government tis yet to implement.

She called on the politicians to learn from the APC’s administration who made a plethora of promised to Nigerians without fulfilling any, rather, they are leaving it worst than they inherited from people’s Democratic Party (PDP).

She further called on the politicians to allow their words to be their bond and work with it instead of promising and doing different thing as Nigerians are patiently watching and waiting to vent their anger on those politicians through the use of the instrumentality of (PVC).

Hon. Beni called on Nigeria to be careful in the forthcoming 2023 General Election and judiciously use their voters registration card (PVC) to determine their future and that of their generation by voting into government people with their interests at heart.
