Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo

Three kidnapped workers of former President Olusegun Obasanjo have regained their freedom.

Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State, Abimbola Oyeyemi has confirmed that the abducted workers were released by their abductors on Friday, September 10, 2021.

It is unclear if a ransom was paid for their release.

The workers had spent 48 hours in the custody of their suspected kidnappers before they were released.
