McTominay, opened scoring for ManU in the second minutes of the Match

Manchester United in their Sunday match with new league sensation Leeds proved the old saying never say die as they ran riot over the visitors, nettings goals right from the blow of the whistle.

Within three minutes of start, Scott McTominay scored twice  at Old Trafford, where they had lost woefully to Crystal Palace 3-1 and Tottenham Hotspurs 61, recently, making fans to cry for the head of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Daniel James made it five after 20 minutes into the second half, before Fernandes got his brace from the penalty spot after Martial had been fouled by Pascal Struijk.

Stuart Dallas gave Leeds another goal to reduce the tally.  The win lifted ManU to the third position  above fourth-placed Everton on goal difference, but with a game in hand, against Everton on Wednesday
