A historic encounter that was for the taking by the better side.! First time semi-finalist Paris St Gemain since 1995 sailed into the final of the tournament for the first time by defeating another RB Leipzig, another first time semi-finalist, 3-O. They played better, coordinated passes and looked more confident.
,Leipzig, an eleven year-old team, which made its second appearance in the competition, has the youngest manager in history to reach a Champions league semi-final, 33-year-old Julian Nagelsnann. Leipzig showed flash of brilliance in the first half, but PSG had the upper hand.
Marquinhos headed in an Angel Di Maria free kick in the 12th min, followed by Di Maria’s second through conversion of Neymay’s flick in the 41st minute, followed by a second-half goal scramble in that Juan Bernat slotted in the 56th minutes.
They will meet the winner in tomorrow’s encounter between another set of France and German side, Lyon and Bayern.
