The Former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs who co-ordinated Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar Campaign in Plateau state,Hon Aminu Zang has charged the National Working Committee, NWC of the Peoples Democratic Party to urgently dissolve the interim Exco constituted by the National Chairman Chief Uche Secondus and bring in neutral persons for the position of state chapter.
Zang called on the appropriate Exco to act fast to avoid further crisis in the party “because the same leadership are going to conduct congress while they are still pursuing to vie for the same offices, that is an indication they can use their position to manipulate their re-election bid.”
He said his ambition to vie for a position of state chapter of the party is to correct the existing abnormality ahead of the 2023 polls in the state.
“My intention of going into the political race for the chairmanship of our great party ,PDP, is that, I hope to correct the issue of lack of internal democracy “, he added.
Hon Zang explained that since he doesn’t belongs to any of the two camp he was better suited as an independent candidate to rewrite the wrong in the party.”
