Ex-NLC Boss Commensurates With Plateau Over Death of Senator Longjan

The former Nigerian Union Congress, NLC, Plateau State chapter, Comrade Jibrin Bancir has commensurated with the government of Plateau State over the death of Sen Ignatius Longjan, Plateau Southern Senatorial District representative at the National Assembly

In a press statement made available to our medium in Jos, Bancir said he received the news of the demise of Senator Ignatius Longjan with shock, stating the late Senator by death is a greatest lost to the APC family and the entire country.

According to him, “late Senator Longjan lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation. We regret that the hand of dead has snatched him soon.”

Senator Longjan was a diplomat, Chief of Staff Government House to former Governor Plateau State Da Jonah David Jang and served as Deputy Governor under the same administration before he was eventually called upon by the people of   South Senatorial District to represent them at the Red Chambers.

Bancir said: “Senator Longjan will be remember edfor his humility, loyalty, fairness, love for family and humanity as a whole and above all love for God.

“I equally commiserate with the government and people of Plateau State and the All Progressive Congress (APC) over the sad loss.The death of Senator Longjan has no doubt created a vacuum in so many heart and homes.

May God grant consolation to the immediate family, plateau state and indeed the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
